About us
TorqueTest was founded in 2000. We specialize in testing drive technology and designing test machines for this.
Dirk van der Bijl and Carolien Sihasale-van den Bosch have been working together since 2004. We both have a background in mechanical engineering, but have learned a lot over the years about motors, frequency converters, sensors and controls. Together we solve test problems within our customers' drive technology by renting and selling test machines.
We have gained a lot of experience in designing the testing machines and working with them. This has resulted in a clear vision:
TorqueTest stands for test machines that are simple and efficient
- The measuring range must be as flexible as possible, torque and speed range as wide as possible and independent of each other
- The test objects must be easy to build up
- The test machines must be operated by test personnel who have a quick insight into the test machine because it is clear what is happening
- The measurements should serve the purpose of the test, neither too much nor too little. The measurements must be easy to process, for example with Excel
- Calibration of the measuring equipment must be transparent and unambiguous
In short, we build and rent test machines that are functional and flexible to use. Every test machine is expandable with test cycle automation, automatic data processing and unattended running, but you don't have to.
We have developed a number of standard testing machines, but are also always up for a challenge, an exceptional problem that requires new solutions.
